Since joining the Software Integration and Verification (IRM) team, Fabiola has worked on integrating and verifying data acquisition software. Her role involves constant Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and ensure the observatory’s operational excellence.

“In all work environments, teamwork is essential. Mutual support and interdepartmental Collaboration allow us to achieve optimal results, promoting constant learning,” postulates Norambuena.

Fabiola stresses the importance of trust and effective communication within ALMA teams. She also emphasized the need to value cultural and experiential diversity among collaborators. “Genuine Collaboration requires constant respect and an effort to build meaningful bonds. Inspiring trust is key to fostering an environment where everyone can grow and contribute their best,” she explains.

For her, essential skills for effective teamwork include organization, clear delegation of responsibilities, and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment. “A safe environment, based on trust, translates into great rewards when facing challenges as a team,” she adds.
