Con tres turbinas de gas capaces de producir hasta 3,7 MW cada una, una red de m\u00e1s de 90 transformadores y cientos de kil\u00f3metros de cables subterr\u00e1neos, aseguran que ALMA funcione en lo alto del Llano de Chajnantor.<\/p>\n

Entre los hitos del \u00e1rea destaca un logro excepcional: m\u00e1s de 600 d\u00edas de operaci\u00f3n continua sin detenciones no programadas, un r\u00e9cord que refleja el compromiso y la precisi\u00f3n del equipo. <\/p>\n

Los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n han tra\u00eddo desaf\u00edos importantes como cortes imprevistos, degradaci\u00f3n de componentes y obsolescencia, los que han impulsado un trabajo conjunto con los fabricantes para fortalecer la confiabilidad del sistema y adaptarlo a nuevas condiciones de uso.<\/p>\n
