We took first place in soccer, table soccer, and table tennis at the Inter Observatories Olympics! And we took second place in the competition. Our colleagues were the protagonists of a day that brought together teams from our observatory with those from AURA and Las Campanas.<\/p>\n

Francisca Sol\u00eds<\/strong>, one of our Software Engineer Trainees, participated in the ALMA soccer team and highlighted the effort of all the teams in the different competitions. “Giving it all on the pitch with your colleagues and bosses, sharing at the awards dinner, and meeting colleagues from other observatories in sporting events is a very nice and nourishing experience”.<\/p>\n

“Very enjoyable, friendly and entertaining. It is nice to see colleagues’ commitment to the sport they are passionate about. Proud to see my colleagues giving their all and being rewarded for it,” says Fabiola Norambuena<\/strong>, Software Engineer Trainee.<\/p>\n
