At ALMA, protecting our digital assets and ensuring the security of our information are fundamental priorities. We are pleased to announce that the BeSafe Cybersecurity Training 2025 <\/strong>is now underway, enhancing our staff’s knowledge and skills to address the growing cyber threats.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”2_3,1_3″ _builder_version=”4.19.1″ _module_preset=”default” min_height=”825.7px” custom_margin=”||-32px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_column type=”2_3″ _builder_version=”4.19.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.19.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_text_color=”#FFFFFF” text_orientation=”justified” custom_margin=”6px||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”]<\/p>\n Why is this training necessary?<\/strong><\/p>\n Cybersecurity awareness is a strategic priority at ALMA. This program aims to ensure that everyone is prepared to protect their data and IT systems by providing tools to identify and respond to threats in the workplace and personal life.<\/p>\n This year’s BeSafe course includes new content, such as the acceptable use of artificial intelligence (AI), to update us on the best information technology practices.<\/p>\n What does the training include?<\/strong><\/p>\n Participants will have access to innovative courses, such as:<\/p>\n After completing the BeSafe course, additional training will be offered on:<\/p>\n Additionally, phishing simulations have been implemented to assess and enhance our detection and response capabilities.<\/p>\n Evolving Threats<\/strong><\/p>\n ALMA’s Cybersecurity team constantly protects us from unauthorized access attempts, phishing attacks, and ransomware. These attacks, which have evolved due to the use of artificial intelligence, underscore the importance of staying one step ahead.<\/p>\n “We continuously face situations involving virus-laden file downloads and phishing reports. We appreciate users who report these incidents, as it improves our filters and blocks,” says Ricardo Carrasco, our Cybersecurity Lead.<\/strong><\/p>\n Modality and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n The training is being conducted online; all details were previously communicated to the JAO.
