This committee aims to ensure a good work experience<\/strong> in key areas such as commuting, food, hygiene and basic conditions<\/strong>. How do they do this? Through ongoing monitoring of these issues, channelling concerns, seeking solutions together with other areas, and generating proposals that can be implemented by the organisation.<\/p>\n

Meetings are held monthly<\/strong>, although if an emergency arises, the committee can be convened on an extraordinary basis. It is currently composed of Andr\u00e9s Baerwald<\/strong>(Hospitality), B\u00e1rbara Sep\u00falveda<\/strong> (Union 2), V\u00edctor Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>(Union 1) and Alicia Fredes<\/strong>, who leads this body. Among the achievements they have already accomplished as a team are:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Improvements in Hospitality services<\/strong>, such as laundry, fumigation and food reports.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Renovation of the AOS casino, <\/strong>including new furniture, new ovens and a cold room for salads and cold dishes.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Resolution of everyday situations<\/strong>,such as bus management during repairs on the OSF-Airport road or connectivity problems in the residence.<\/p>\n

According to B\u00e1rbara Sep\u00falveda<\/strong>, representative of Union 2, \u2018the key objective of this committee is to improve the stay and working conditions for our colleagues at the OSF and SCO.\u2019 She also invites everyone to participate by approaching any of the members or writing directly to the committee’s email address.<\/p>\n
